Founder — AAI

Military. Nurse. Stay-at-home mom. Co-founder of an SEO and AI visibility agency. The story behind Authority Architecture Institute — and why it exists for people who never saw themselves as "tech people."

Amanda Jantzen, founder of AAI

I never imagined I would end up working in the world of SEO, AI visibility, or online business.

My life looked completely different.

I served in the military, later became a nurse, and eventually stepped into the role that matters most to me — being a stay-at-home mom.

For a long time, I believed “tech” careers belonged to a different kind of person. People who grew up coding, understood computers naturally, or always knew they wanted to work online.

That was never me.

But even while staying home with my kids, I still had this constant feeling that I wanted to keep learning, keep building, and keep challenging myself in new ways. I wanted work that felt meaningful, creative, and flexible enough to fit into real life.

I didn’t want to choose between motherhood and having a future of my own.

What surprised me most

…was realizing that modern digital work could actually make that possible.

  • I could work during the hours that worked best for my family.
  • I could take time off when my kids were sick.
  • I could travel without feeling chained to a desk.
  • I could build something that belonged to me instead of living inside systems that controlled every hour of my life.

After years of high-pressure environments, physically demanding work, and careers where so much responsibility rested on my shoulders, I found myself drawn toward work that allowed more creativity, strategy, flexibility, and ownership.

I was no longer

  • running hospital floors for 12+ hours
  • carrying the emotional weight of patient care home with me
  • running miles with heavy gear because someone else told me I had to
  • living inside rigid systems that left very little room for freedom

Instead, I found work that allowed me to

  • think creatively
  • solve problems
  • continue learning
  • build meaningful things online
  • work with people I genuinely enjoy
  • create a schedule that supports my life instead of competing with it

Today

I’m the co-founder of an SEO and AI visibility agency where we help businesses become easier to find online through:

  • authority content systems
  • foundational SEO
  • discoverability strategy
  • full-funnel optimization
  • AI visibility infrastructure

Our work focuses on helping businesses build stronger digital foundations so they can be more easily understood, trusted, and recommended online.

/ What changed everything

Properly structured authority content can begin appearing in AI-generated summaries and search experiences within the first 30 days of implementation.

One of the things that fascinated me most was seeing how quickly properly structured authority content could begin appearing in AI-generated summaries and search experiences. In many cases, our authority-focused blog systems begin gaining AI visibility within the first 30 days of implementation.

That experience changed the way I think about work completely.

I realized there are so many people looking for the same thing

  • flexibility
  • future stability
  • meaningful work
  • remote opportunities
  • practical digital skills
  • more ownership over their lives and schedules

Especially people who do not see themselves as “tech people.”

AAI was built for those people.

Not just marketers.

Not just programmers.

Not just people who already feel confident online.

Real people trying to navigate a changing internet economy and looking for a different way forward.
